Mastermind Plumbing is a growing, locally-owned plumbing company based in Greenville, SC. We are known for quality work, honest service, and quick turnarounds. As we expand into larger residential and commercial projects, we’re looking to immediately hire a plumbing construction bid estimator to quote and manage our bids for construction and remodeling jobs.
Job responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for plumbing construction and renovation projects – Analyze blueprints, drawings, specs, and other inputs to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates – Identify and evaluate subcontractor and material quotes – Work directly with general contractors, project managers, and clients on projects and pricing – Track material costs, labor rates, and market pricing trends – Maintain organized bid documentation and project records
What we’re looking for: Minimum of one year of experience as a plumbing construction bid estimator or a similar role in which the applicant used blueprints and formulated pricing – Strong background in job estimating, cost analysis, or project bidding – Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans – Familiarity with finding and reading local building codes and plumbing regulations – Experience in budgeting, or accounting is a plus – Motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable – Strong communication and organizational skills

Job responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems (pipes, fittings, fixtures, etc.) – Diagnose and troubleshoot common plumbing issues – Work on water heaters, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing appliances – Perform inspections and routine maintenance of plumbing systems – Respond to emergency service calls and provide after-hours support as needed – Follow safety guidelines and company protocols at all times – Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of issues and solutions – Complete work in a timely manner while ensuring quality workmanship – Provide excellent customer service
What we’re looking for: Two years – preferably three + years – of experience in plumbing installation, service, or repair preferred – Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents – Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail – Excellent communication and customer service skills – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record – Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging weather conditions – Flexibility to work on-call and handle emergency situations
